Organisation

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kamptee
was established on 7.7.1973 in defence sector. It was granted the status of model Kendriya vidyalaya by KVS in June 1999. This vidyalaya is situated on Nagpur-Jabalpur highway in cantonment area. It is selected as mother link school for computer education kamptee.

Commissioner

The Commissioner is the Chief Executive Head of the Sangthan and the Chief Administrator of Kendriya Vidyalaya, responsible for the due discharge of the functions and policies laid down by the Board. At the Headquarters, he is supported by two Joint Commissioners and five Deputy Commissioners and other officers and staff members.
 

Shri Avinash Dikshit, a 1986 batch officer from Indian Defence Account Service (IDAS) has joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as Commissioner consequent upon his appointment for a period of five years with effect from April 07, 2010.

Shri Dikshit earlier joined Indian Defence Account Service in the year 1986 and served in different capacities. He was selected for a UN mission - UN AMIR-II and posted at Rawanda in the year 1994. On return from abroad he served in successively higher capacities consequent upon his promotions in the cadre.

Shri Dikshit rendered diligent services in the Department of Science and Technology in different capacities; firstly as Deputy Secretary with effect from June 01, 2000; secondly as the Director with effect from March 16, 2001 followed by as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for the Ministry of Science and Technology with effect from May 24, 2004.

The KVS family is delighted and inspired on his joining and looking forwards to a bright future.
